Switch between Sprint and AT&T’s LTE networks for free with FreedomPop

FreedomPop is a mobile network that offers free data, voice and texts to its customers, and things have recently got much better all round.  FreedomPop operate in the USA, UK and Spain but the focus on today’s article is about the original USA arm.

Until recently FreedomPop licensed space on Sprint’s USA network – if you were running on FreedomPop you’d be using Sprint.  Now FreedomPop have added AT&T’s very robust network to the mix.  This means that you’ll be able to automatically hop between the two networks to select the best LTE signal available to you at any given place.

In the UK, FreedomPop operates on Three’s UK wide network, see more here.

FreedomPop’s pricing is very competitive, by signing up for a SIM card that costs only 99 cents (or 99 pence in the UK) you will be given 200 minutes, 500 texts, and 200MB of data for free each month.  This is often sufficient to keep that spare cellular iPad online for free, and if you want more the packages are very competitively priced.  On top of this, FreedomPop have some pretty impressive deals running at the moment (click each link to activate them):
