Do you remember the days when you phone battery used to last a week, and always had signal? There’s a lot to be said for early feature phones (that is, none smart phones… or dumb phones!), especially the Nokia 3310. Before Nokia’s downfall this was a hugely successful phone and was so, unbelievably simple to use.
Well, the Nokia brand is now owned by a company called HMD Global and the rumour mill has been pretty active. According to many reports around the web, HMD (under the Nokia brand) will relaunch the 3310 device – perhaps at Mobile World Congress early next week.
The critical thing for UK readers is where to get it. Sure, you could pick up a second hand old version of the phone but surely you want the new one right? Well, if that’s the case it sounds like you’ll need to get over to the Carphone Warehouse website (direct link here) who may well be selling it SIM free for just £50.
Keep checking out the site and it’s expected to arrive quite quickly once officially announced.
